In this tutorial, I'll give you some advice on how to compose music.
Get a piano keyboard.
Get familiar with music theory.
Learn to easily identify intervals and chords.
Get familiar with counterpoint.
Learn to improvise in different keys.
Learn to play the circle of fifths smoothly.
Listen to other composers.
Have fun composing.
For beautiful harmony, when two notes start at the same time, they should create a pleasant interval.
Notes should be sustained to create tension, which should eventually be resolved.
Minor and Major 3rd-s and 6th-s should be used often.
Connect melodies from different keys and scales.
Be aware of what scale or part of it you are currently composing in.
Place the chords first, optionally turning on the Octaver mode (letter O.) in the Voices window in Fugorama.
Put the notes on top of the chords and helper lines.
